The month of February, an upbeat 28 days ending in my birthday and following on from a grey, confused January, never fails to impress or entertain. It is crammed with events and note worthy dates. Ever a fan of Valentine´s Day I smile at just the thought of it. A reason to concentrate your thoughts for one day on what really matters to you in love terms and who you care about; be it longterm friends, partners, new visitors to your World or just yourself.
February marks the start of the year for me. January goes by almost unnoticed and it seems to be a month in which people get themselves organized and back on track, but as a whole it lacks clarity. The New Year can bring with it uncertainty or instability as we try to find our feet again. With such media pressure to start the New Year as we mean to go on, January almost loses it´s identity as the first month of a new 12 month period. February on the other hand seems easier, more relaxed yet also more active. I see it as month to open yourself up to new opportunities and to cram in the selective socializing and new professional opportunities that start presenting themselves. By laying open the new and improved New Year guest list, only worthy candidates to your own private party need apply, and making the right choices over and over again seem easier in this month of opportunities and positive changes.
